J.C. Bose University commemorates 135th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

FARIDABAD NEWS 13 APRIL 2026 : GAUTAM : Faridabad, paid rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, on his 135th birth anniversary today. The commemorative program was organized by the Office of the Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) in association with the SC/ST Cell of the University.
The event was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rajive Kumar, who led the homage by garlanding the portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and offering floral tributes. This was followed by faculty members, staff, and students who also paid their respects by offering floral tributes on the portrait.
In his address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar described the Indian Constitution as a visionary and progressive document that continues to guide the nation. He applauded the foresight of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the members of the Constituent Assembly, stating that the Constitution was crafted with such remarkable vision that it remains highly relevant to contemporary times. He highlighted that the Constitution provides adequate provisions for its own evolution while steadfastly preserving its core values and principles.
Prof. Rajive Kumar further emphasized that the values enshrined in the Constitution inspired the National Education Policy-2020 (NEP-2020), which aims to transform India into a self-reliant and developed nation by 2047.
On this occasion, Prof. Pradeep Dimri read out the Preamble of the Indian Constitution.
Prof. Raj Kumar, Chairperson of the SC/ST Cell, along with other members of the Cell, was also present during the program. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students and faculty members. The program was efficiently coordinated by the DSW Team and the student club, 'Ananya'.
