FARIDABAD NEWS 13 JULY 2026 : GAUTAM :  J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has announced a golden opportunity for students aspiring to pursue B.Tech from the University for the academic session 2026-27. The University has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission to B.Tech and B.Tech (LEET) programmes against leftover/vacant seats. The opportunity is particularly beneficial for students who participated in the first and second rounds of HSTES counselling but could not secure admission. Fresh applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria can also apply.
According to the University notification, online applications for admission to B.Tech (All Programmes) can be submitted from July 14 to July 30, 2026, while applications for B.Tech (LEET) Programmes will be accepted from July 24 to July 30, 2026. The schedule for Institute Level Physical Counselling has also been notified and available on the University website. The Institute Level Physical Counselling will start from August 5, 2026.
Admissions to B.Tech programmes will be made on the basis of JEE (Main)-2026 CRL Rank, while admissions to B.Tech (LEET) programmes will be based on OCET Rank-2026. Admissions under categories such as Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Haryana Government School Topper (HGST) will be considered as per the prescribed norms. Reservation policy of the Haryana Government will be followed during the first institute-level counselling.
The University has further advised Haryana resident candidates to keep their Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) ID ready before filling the online application form. The PPP ID is mandatory for admission, and candidate details including caste and annual family income will be verified through the Family Information Data Repository (FIDR). Any reservation or fee concession/income-based benefit will be considered only on the basis of the verified data available through the PPP database in accordance with Haryana Government norms.
The University has clarified that candidates who appeared in the earlier rounds of counselling and could not obtain admission must apply afresh for consideration against the vacant seats. The latest seat vacancy position, counselling schedule and detailed admission guidelines will be made available only on the University's website www.jcboseust.ac.in.
University officials have advised all eligible candidates to complete the online application within the stipulated dates and regularly visit the University website for updates regarding vacant seats and counselling schedules.
