FARIDABAD NEWS 15 APRIL 2026 : GAUTAM : J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has officially announced the admission schedule for various Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate (except B.Tech) and Postgraduate courses for the Academic Session 2026-27.
The University will invite online application forms through its admission portal from 1st May 2026. The last date for submission of online application forms is 31st May 2026.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar today unveiled the University Admission Brochure for Academic Year 2026-27 in the presence of Dean (Academic Affairs) Prof. Atul Mishra, Director (Admission) Prof. Ashutosh Nigam, Deputy Registrar (Academics) Dr. Meha Sharma and other senior officials. The event was attended by all Deans and Chairpersons of the teaching departments.
On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor announced the launch of four new undergraduate programmes from the academic session 2026-27, including B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing, BCA in Data Science, B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences and B.A. in English.
The University is offering undergraduate programmes (except B.Tech) as per the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Students have the flexibility of Multiple Entry and Exit options. The University offers three-year as well as four-year undergraduate degrees (Honours / Honours with Research). Students can also opt for any minor degree programme along with their major degree.
The University has also introduced one-year and two-year postgraduate degree programmes from the upcoming session. It has further implemented the National Credit Framework (NCrF) and Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF), enabling seamless credit transfer between institutions and programmes.
Important Admission Dates:
• Entrance Tests for Postgraduate courses: 1st to 4th July 2026
• Declaration of PG Entrance Result: 8th July 2026
• First Round of Admission Counselling (Except B.Tech): From 15th July 2026
Prof. Ashutosh Nigam, Director (Admission), informed that the University is offering more than 60 courses including Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes for the session 2026-27.
He clarified that admission to all B.Tech courses will be done only through online counselling conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). The schedule will be available on the official website: www.hstes.org.in
• Admission to all other UG courses (Science, Management, Arts) and all PG courses will be conducted at the University level.
• Admission to UG courses will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination.
• Admission to PG courses will be through University Entrance Examination.
For students of Haryana, Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP)/Family ID is mandatory for admission. The Haryana Government’s reservation policy will be applicable during the first physical counselling.
