FARIDABAD NEWS 19 MARCH 2026 : GAUTAM :  With a view to bridging the employability skills gap among students, the Employment and Training Office of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA organized a one-day HR Conclave on campus. The event brought together leading HR professionals from reputed organizations to deliberate on emerging industry trends, talent expectations, and the evolving job landscape.

The conclave witnessed participation from distinguished HR leaders including Ms. Khushboo Sharma (Sony India Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Sujeet Gusain (ABB), Mr. Amin Rao (Sona Comstar), Mr. Mahesh Chandra (Cadence Design Systems), and Mr. Chandan Singh (Celebal Technologies), who shared valuable insights on industry requirements and hiring practices.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Rajesh Kumar Ahuja, Training and Placement Officer, who highlighted the various initiatives and activities undertaken by the Training & Placement Office to enhance students’ employability and industry readiness. Prof. Atul Mishra, Dean (Academics), in his address, emphasized the growing relevance of such industry-academia interactions in equipping students with practical knowledge and skills aligned with industry expectations.

An engaging Industry–Academia HR Dialogue Session provided a platform for meaningful interaction between students and industry experts. This was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, where students actively participated and sought clarity on career opportunities, job roles, and skill development pathways.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar applauded the initiative taken by the Employment and Training Office and appreciated the efforts to create meaningful industry linkages for students. He remarked that such platforms play a crucial role in preparing students to meet the dynamic demands of the professional world and help in nurturing a future-ready workforce.

The event was graced by the presence of senior university functionaries including Dean (FET) Prof. Raj Kumar, Dean (Institution) Prof. Munish Vashishath, Dean Student Welfare Prof. Pradeep Dimri, Chairperson (CE) Prof. Ashutosh Dixit, along with faculty members.

Dr. Sheilza Jain proposed the formal vote of thanks. The event was efficiently coordinated by the Employment and Training Office with the active support of student volunteers from the UDAAN student society.

The conclave concluded on a high note, reinforcing the University’s commitment to fostering strong industry-academia collaboration and enhancing the employability prospects of its students.
