J.C. Bose University celebrated 79th Independence Day with unwavering Patriotism amid Heavy Rain
FARIDABAD NEWS 17 AUG 2025 : GAUTAM ; Despite heavy rainfall, the 79th Independence Day was celebrated with immense patriotic fervour at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. The spirited participation of students, particularly NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers, and Security Officials, remained undeterred by the weather, showcasing their unwavering dedication.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar hoisted the national flag and took the salute during an impressive march-past by Security Officials, NCC Cadets, and NSS Volunteers. The event was marked by resounding slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’, echoing the students’ patriotic zeal. Prof. Tomar paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs at the War Heroes Gallery and addressed the gathering, which included Registrar Prof. Ajay Ranga, all Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty, and students.
In his address, Prof. Tomar praised the enthusiasm of the students, especially the NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers, and Security Officials, for their exemplary performance despite the challenging weather conditions. He remarked, “The way our students exhibit patriotic fervour reflects that they are the torchbearers of Atmanirbhar Bharat.” He urged the youth to draw inspiration from the sacrifices of freedom fighters and contribute to the nation’s progress.
The program concluded with a soul-stirring rendition of the National Anthem. The program was successfully organized under the supervision of Dean Student Welfare Prof. Pradeep Dimri, in which Prof. Sandhya Dixit, Dr. Harish Kumar, Dr. Rashmi Popli and the entire team of DSW office played an important role.
