FARIDABAD NEWS 23 DEC 2025 : GAUTAM : Prof. Rajive Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, today released a comprehensive book titled 'Photo Patrakarita' in Hindi authored by Dr. Taruna Narula, Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Media Technology.
The book delves deeply into both the theoretical foundations and practical technical aspects of photojournalism, offering valuable insights for aspiring students and professionals alike. This marks the debut authored work by Dr. Taruna Narula, highlighting her expertise and dedication to advancing media education. The book is published by Blue Rose Publishers, and available on online platforms and ebook version.
During the book release ceremony, Prof. Rajive Kumar extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Narula. He emphasized that the publication will serve as an essential resource, equipping students with the intricacies of photojournalism while providing practical guidance to working journalists in the field. Praising the Department of Communication and Media Technology, the Vice-Chancellor described it as one of the most dynamic and vibrant departments in the university, renowned as a leading center for media studies in North India despite operating with limited resources.
Prof. Rajive Kumar further highlighted the department’s proactive initiatives in media education and urged faculty members across the university to author quality books that can enrich the learning experience of students and contribute to academic excellence.
The event was graced by distinguished guest Dr. D.P. Bhardwaj, President of Haryana Vidya Bharti, who commended Dr. Narula’s scholarly contribution and stressed the importance of such works in promoting ethical and skilled journalism in today’s fast-evolving media landscape. Shri Krishna Chandra Arora, Principal (Retired), Government College, Adampur, was also present on the occasion.
