Grand Tiranga Yatra Organized at JC Bose University on Independence Day
FARIDABAD NEWS 13 AUG 2025 : GAUTAM ; On the occasion of Independence Day, a grand "Tiranga Yatra" was organized by the NSS Wing under the Dean of Student Welfare at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. This event was not merely a procession but also an opportunity to ignite patriotic fervor and pay tribute to the martyrs.
The "Tiranga Yatra" commenced from the C.V. Raman Bhawan, where students marched shoulder-to-shoulder, showcasing their respect and love for the national flag. Chanting slogans such as "Desh Ki Shaan Tiranga" and "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," the participants filled the university campus with patriotic zeal. The yatra culminated in front of the Vice-Chancellor’s office.
Addressing the gathering, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sushil Kumar Tomar, highlighted the significance of the tricolor. He stated, "Honoring the tricolor is the fundamental duty of every Indian citizen." He urged the youth to remain dedicated to serving the nation and actively participate in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.
The event further strengthened the spirit of patriotism among students and conveyed the message that Independence Day is not just a day of celebration but a symbol of responsibility and dedication towards the nation. The program was attended by Dean (Institutions) Professor Muneesh Vashisht, Proctor Professor Vasudev Malhotra, Professor Arvind Gupta, Professor Pawan Singh, Dr. Atmaram, Dr. O.P. Mishra, Dr. Mahesh Chand, Dr. Akhilesh, and a large number of students
