J.C. Bose University dedicated new Sanitation Facility
FARIDABAD NEWS 31 JULY 2025 : GAUTAM : J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, took a significant step toward enhancing campus amenities with the inauguration of a new sanitation facility at the Main Gate.
The modern sanitation facility, a generous contribution from the family of Late Sh. Harinder Singh, a distinguished alumnus, was dedicated to the University Community today. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar, Vice-Chancellor of the University, with notable attendees including Registrar Prof. Ajay Ranga, Prof. Sonia, Dean Alumni Affairs, Dr. Renuka Gupta, Chairperson, Environmental Sciences, Sh. Sukhdev Singh, President of the YMCA MOB Alumni Association, Sh. Gurmat Singh of Satguru Buildcon Faridabad, and other esteemed alumni.
In his address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar highlighted the significance of the new facility, stating that the sanitation facility at the Main Gate will provide convenient access for visitors and security personnel, fostering a more hygienic and welcoming environment. He extended heartfelt gratitude to the family of Late Sh. Harinder Singh and our alumni for their invaluable support in enhancing the University’s infrastructure.
Prof. Sonia, Dean Alumni Affairs, extended thanks to the YMCA MOB Alumni Association for their continued support and active participation in the University’s initiatives, which have been instrumental in driving progress and fostering a sense of community.
The event also saw active participation in the ongoing Hariyali Parv 4.0, the annual Plantation Drive-2025, organized by the Vasundhara Eco-Club and the Department of Environmental Sciences in collaboration with the Office of the Dean Student Welfare. Alumni Association members joined hands to plant saplings on the main ground, contributing to the University’s green initiatives.
