FARIDABAD NEWS 20 NOV 2024 : GAUTAM ; J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan, New Delhi. This collaboration, operating under the Swadeshi Swavalamban Nyas Trust, is dedicated to promoting awareness and research in Indian knowledge system, as well as reviving the principles of Swadeshi across the nation.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Meha Sharma, Registrar of J.C. Bose University, and Shri Suresh Gupta, Consultant at Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan. The ceremony was attended by key University officials, including Prof. Maneesha Garg, Director of Research and Development, Dr. Shilpa Sethi, Chairperson of Computer Applications, and Dr. Rashmi Popli, In-Charge of Collaboration and Industry Linkages.
This partnership aims to foster mutual cooperation in organizing training, skill development, entrepreneurship, and employment activities. It also emphasizes the promotion of collaborative academic, research, and extension initiatives centered on Indian Knowledge Systems across various domains. Additionally, the MoU seeks to enhance value-based education, cultivate national character, and support the holistic development of students.
Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar, Vice-Chancellor of J.C. Bose University, expressed enthusiasm about the MoU, highlighting the critical importance of clean technology research. He commended Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan for its efforts in advancing sustainable energy research and noted that students at the University would benefit significantly from this collaboration, particularly with the recent introduction of a course in Electric Vehicles. He encouraged both parties to actively engage in initiatives under the MoU.
Shri Suresh Gupta, Consultant at Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan, remarked on the organization’s commitment to collaborating with government universities throughout Haryana. He outlined plans to conduct workshops focused on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Security, Animation, and Gaming. Shri Gupta invited the University to recommend its research scholars for access to the Sansthan’s research facilities in New Delhi.
